We had been contacted by a lady who was convinced her estranged husband was cohabitating and had left her for yet another woman. She wanted proof of this and also wanted to uncover out where he was living
Our client told us that when her husband initial left he was quite sad and apologetic as he felt that following 26 years of marriage that they had grown apart and he didn’t feel he loved her any more. He said he required time apart and did not wish to tell her exactly where he was going. He took a big quantity of funds out of their joint bank account which he said he necessary to set himself up in a new place to live.
Although waiting for her husband to return their relationship started to go from amicable to acrimonious. He stopped answering her calls and paid less money into their bank account. Our client was confused by this and she felt this was very strange behaviour for him and completely out of character. A friend of hers suggested that he may have another woman as a similar thing had happened to her. She also urged our client to give us a call to see if we could help as we had helped her in the past.
We carried out a session of surveillance on her husband and discovered the address he was living at and that there was yet another woman living there. We then looked into the address and it was registered in his name along with the woman he was living with. They had purchased the property together just soon after he had left our client.
We were able to present our client with all of the evidence she needed to divorce her husband for adultery. Our client she said that soon after the initial shock it all became clear and that her husband had almost certainly been having an affair with this woman for a lot of years. She is now prepared to move on with her new life.
